My 4 year old loves Winnie the Pooh stories.
I can't help but think of Owl when I see this guy in the tree next door.
Two silly sisters...on the same night.

Instagram has been a fun way to share photos with family & friends, during my long blogging break.
Here are a few of my favorite pics (mostly off the iphone).

our blue eyes

My lovely niece & me. My sister says we have very similar blue eyes in their color.
I told her that it would be wonderful if it remains true! I'd love to share family eye color. :)

They were having such fun on their grandparent's trampoline. This was from Thanksgiving 2012.

I never know what she's going to do next. This was how I found her recently.
I promise I had nothing to do with taping her mouth shut. She thought it was hilarious and her laughing was quite contagious.

moonlit mountains

We were driving through the Rocky Mountain National Park at night.
Adam kindly pulled over, so that I could try to get a picture. I placed the camera on the top of our van.
It was too dark for us to see anything but a faint outline of the mountains. It was amazing to see this on the camera!
This night drive was a trip highlight for me. More pictures to come soon. It is hard to narrow down pictures to post.

She painted me this painting and, of course, I had to frame it. I love it!

Family Christmas card 2011
I have to thank my friend, Susan, again for the photos of us. She did mine and I did hers. It was an incredible blessing and an early Christmas present for me!
thanksgiving :: part I
Here are a few glimpses of our Thanksgiving with G.K. and Grandpa.
We enjoyed yummy food and a peaceful day (as peaceful as children can be).
G.K. saved many toys from when Adam and Amy were young (and some from when she was little). Our kids love playing with all of her little collections. She inspires me with what she set aside and saved. She kept some wonderful toys that the kids play with for hours.
Tom and I love to play with our cameras. They shared some pictures from his camera. So, I'm actually in a few pictures!
Our dinner: turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, green beans, homemade rolls, and pies. I chuckled as we put our classy Tetco sodas on the table...we are cool like that!
