personality & quirkiness

I have to say a little bit about this child.  Many of you may remember that this kid did not show too much personality as an infant.  As a baby, she mainly possessed this expression...

Well, she talks now and has opened up with us.  And now she proves that she has a lot of personality!  We are just amazed with the silly things she says and does.

This was from her long nap today in our living room chair.  She managed to fall asleep in her regular clothes plus a ballet skirt plus a raincoat.  I found the site very funny.

On the first week of every month, it is observation day at dance class.  Big sis' loves this day because she likes our attention and checks to see if we are there.  Lil sis' loves it too.  I think she dreams of going to dance class someday.  It is sweet to see how much she looks up to her sister.  They dream of having one more little sister.  We look forward to finding out if this baby is a girl or boy on Feb. 4th.

every Saturday morning...

Every Saturday morning the girls know that Dad will wake up and take them to get donuts.  They have had this weekly tradition for a long time, I can't remeber when it began.  He spoils them...they can pick out whatever ones they want.  This past Sat. big sis' picked a donut that was the size of her face.  It cracked me up!
