a giant teddy bear picnic

They created it on their own and surprised me with an invitation.  It was a huge picnic.  Lots of set up.  I was proud of their hospitality skills.

And here was some of our cute company.

she's not as tough as she looks...

I need to dedicate this post to my crazy fun cousin, Ashley, who gave us this adorable top.
She's rockin' her onesie!

preteen-in-training...
Oh, my goodness. I'm smitten. I've never dressed up any of my babies like rock-stars. I like it!
I'm ready for my closeup...
I couldn't resist the baby Converse on clearance at Target. I love target. And baby shoes!
"Like...my mom is so awesome...for dressing me so cute..."

sneaking in

A couple of weeks ago, Adam was on the men's retreat with church.  I had to be creative with my time with the girls & have some fun planned.  The first night I enjoyed a movie night with the oldest two, but once I got them to bed I still wanted some company.  So, I sneaked in on the lil' babe.
Each of them are so peaceful when the sleep. Adam and I joke that if they were always as sweet as when they sleep...we could have a lot more!
I turned on the closet light and woke her up with the click of the camera. Will she be grumpy??
Nope! She was ready for some slumber party fun too.
Her expression told me..."what's up, Mom? This is fun waking up late at night. Let's play!"
So, we played & cuddled to my heart's content.

I have a little too much to blog about this week, so, I'm overwhelmed and procrastinating  (which seems counter-intuitive to be that way about a hobby...oh, well).  I'm just tired and run down a little bit & I've needed a quiet day today.  I got this one pic of the babe after bath this morning.

I'm 30 now.  Do I feel old?  Not really, however, I do feel like...college was a long time ago!  I've discovered that I like "milestone" birthdays.  You get pampered and I'm into that.  I knew that I didn't want a big party.  I don't enjoy being the center of attention of a big party.  Several little celebrations is much more my style.  Adam was kind enough to ask me what I wanted.  I said it doesn't really matter, as long as I'm pampered a lot over a long period of time.  Heehee.
During my birthday weekend, I had a blast going to dinner with my parents, a valentine's date with my man, and a night out with girlfriends.  On the night of my birthday,  I enjoyed a ladies night at Phil's Icehouse (Amy...as in Amy's ice cream...is married to Phil).  It's a fun burger stand connected to an Amy's.  The best part - they have an old photo booth.  My birthday gift was sitting in the photo booth with each gal & taking home the pictures of us.  I loved it!
